A small portfolio of furnished homes, run properly.
Platinum Stays operates six furnished two-bedroom residences in Cambridge and Brighton, Massachusetts. Each one is leased by the month to people staying a season — clinicians on contract, researchers on appointment, project teams, and families between homes.
Minimum stay: 32 nights. Every residence is leased by the month. We do not offer nightly, weekend or vacation stays.
Who we are
Platinum Stays is built on a straightforward idea: the housing market around Cambridge and Brighton is set up for two kinds of stay — a few nights in a hotel, or a twelve-month lease with an empty apartment at the end of it. Almost nobody's life fits neatly into either. A thirteen-week clinical contract, a single academic term, a relocation with a closing date that keeps moving: all of these need a furnished home for a few months, and all of them get handled badly by the existing options.
So we built the narrow version of that business instead of the broad one. Six residences, two streets, one standard. Each home is a real two-bedroom apartment with two full baths, a kitchen you can cook in, a washer and dryer inside the unit, and a desk that is not the kitchen table. We furnish them, clean them, maintain them and lease them ourselves.
What we deliberately do not do matters just as much. We do not take nightly bookings. We do not list outside Cambridge and Brighton. We do not quote a headline rate and add fees later. And when a residence is genuinely committed for the month you need, we say so rather than moving you halfway through your stay.
How we operate
Two streets, not a map
We operate on Sidney Street in Cambridge and Western Avenue in Brighton. Staying small and local is what lets us keep every residence to the same standard.
Months, not nights
Every residence carries a 32-night minimum. We are a mid-term housing operator, not a vacation rental host, and we turn down short bookings.
One rate, in writing
The monthly figure we quote includes utilities, Wi-Fi and cleaning between stays. No resort fees, no per-night surge pricing, no surprises at signing.
A person, not a portal
You deal with the same local team from your first inquiry through the end of your lease — for maintenance, parking or an extension.
