Corporate & project housing

Housing for assignments measured in months.

Furnished two-bedroom residences in Cambridge and Brighton for consultants, engineers and project teams who need somewhere to live for a quarter — not a hotel room for a week.

Minimum stay: 32 nights. Every residence is leased by the month. We do not offer nightly, weekend or vacation stays.

Why a residence instead of an extended-stay hotel

A hotel room works for three nights. Past the first month it starts to cost more than it returns: there is no kitchen worth using, laundry is a service you pay for by the piece, and there is nowhere to take a call that is not the end of a bed. Our residences are ordinary two-bedroom apartments, furnished and operated to a consistent standard, priced by the month.

Each home has a full kitchen with a dishwasher, a washer and dryer inside the unit, two bedrooms with real closets, two full baths and a dedicated desk. Two colleagues can share a residence without sharing a bathroom, and each has somewhere private to work. For a team of four on the same project, two residences in the same collection put everyone within a few doors of each other.

The monthly rate covers heat, hot water, electricity and internet. There are no resort fees, parking surprises or nightly rate spikes when a conference comes to town — the figure we quote for your dates is the figure you pay.

Where they are, and what that means for the commute

The Sidney Collection sits on Sidney Street in Cambridgeport. It is a fifteen-minute walk to MIT, a short walk to Kendall Square, and a few blocks from Central Square's Red Line stop — which puts downtown Boston and South Station within a straightforward ride. For teams working with the Kendall Square biotech and software cluster, this is a walk-to-work location.

The Charles Collection sits on Western Avenue in Brighton, close to Harvard's Allston campus, the Charles River path and the on-ramps toward the Mass Pike. It is the better choice for anyone commuting by car, to a suburban site, or to the Longwood Medical Area. Parking is included with several of these residences.

How the paperwork works

We use a straightforward monthly lease with a 32-night minimum. Companies can be named as the responsible party and invoiced directly, or the resident can hold the lease and expense it — whichever your finance team prefers. We can extend month to month if the project runs long, subject to availability, and we will tell you honestly if a residence is already committed rather than moving you mid-assignment.

Before arrival the residence is cleaned and inspected. Check-in is self-service, so a late flight is not a problem. Throughout the stay you have one local point of contact for maintenance, parking or an extension — not a call centre.

Getting a quote

Send the month your assignment begins and roughly how long it runs. We reply within one business day with the residences that are genuinely open for those dates and the exact monthly rate, including everything. If nothing fits, we will say so instead of proposing something that does not.
