Moves rarely line up. A closing date slips, a renovation runs two months past its estimate, a relocation package covers ninety days and the house hunt takes longer than that. What you need in the meantime is not a hotel — it is a home with a kitchen, laundry, two bedrooms and enough room that the family is not living out of suitcases.

Every one of our residences is a furnished two-bedroom, two-bath apartment with a full kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer, real closets and a dedicated desk. The monthly rate includes heat, hot water, electricity and Wi-Fi, so you are not opening accounts for a stay you hope is temporary.

Leases are monthly with a 32-night minimum and can be extended month to month when your timeline moves, subject to availability. That flexibility is the point: you should not have to guess your closing date twelve months in advance to have somewhere to live.

The Sidney Collection on Sidney Street in Cambridgeport is the walkable option: Central Square, the Red Line, grocery stores and restaurants are a few blocks away, and MIT and Kendall Square are within a short walk. The Charles Collection on Western Avenue in Brighton offers on-site parking and a quieter block, with the Charles River path nearby and easy access toward the Mass Pike. Families with a car, or anyone commuting out of the city, usually prefer it.

These are not vacation rentals and we do not offer nightly, weekend or short-break stays. The minimum is 32 nights in every residence, without exception. That keeps the buildings quiet, keeps us on good terms with the neighbors, and means the person in the residence next to you is also there for the season rather than the weekend.

We also operate in exactly two places — Sidney Street in Cambridge and Western Avenue in Brighton. If you need housing elsewhere in Greater Boston, we will tell you plainly that we cannot help rather than sending you somewhere we do not manage.
